Caroline and Mark's Wedding Website

So he finally asked... and I said YES!!!

We have decided to get married in Poland on the 14th August 2010!!!

The Venue we have chosen for our celebrations is:

Zamek Ksiaz in the Southwest of Poland,approx 80kms South of Wroclaw

Książ 58-300 Wałbrzych, Wałbrzyski, Lower Silesia, Poland

 

As you may be able to see, the venue is quite cool so we are planning to make the best of it.
  • We plan to get there on Friday 13th August 2010 and plan to leave on Monday 16th August 2010 in the morning.
  • The Wedding Ceremony will commence at 1630 in the Maximillian Hall on the Saturday 14th August.
  • Reception will follow in the Ballroom.
  • Sunday's activities will begin with games in the castle grounds followed by a BBQ on the terrace of the restaurant.

History
Książ  is a castle in Silesia, Poland near the town of Wałbrzych. It was built in 1288-1292 under Bolko I the Strict. It lies within a protected area called Książ Landscape Park.
