Caroline and Mark's Wedding Website

How to get to our Wedding!

We thought long and hard where we wanted to have our wedding and once the location was finally decided - we thought we better let everyone know how to get here!!!
We plan to organise transfers from Wroclaw to Zamek Ksiaz on Friday and Saturday if we know numbers of people that will be there at those times.
We can also arrange for transfers back to Wroclaw on Sunday night or Monday morning (again people dependant).

By Foot

Not advisable - as this may take some time!

By Train

There are trains that run from Wroclaw Glowny to Świebodzice and Walbrzych Glowny. They take between 1.5 to 2 hours. Trains run roughly every hour. The Castle Ksiaz is in between these two. So it would be possible to get a train there and then a taxi locally.

By Bus

The above website links to available bus routes in and around Poland, and you can get a bus to Swiebodzice or Walbrzych and then a taxi from there.

For those that have provided me with travel details - we will arrange for buses to have you picked up at various times on the Friday and Saturday to head to the venue. The buses will be at a small fee which I will try to let you know the details of. I will aim to email all of you in the various groups as to where and when you will be picked up and how much it will be. I will also try and post the details on this site. If for whatever reason you do not want to be on the bus allocated to you please let me know - and you will then be making your own way to the castle. Hope this helps.... see you all soon!

By Air

We expect a majority of our guests to be flying in. Unfortunately I am unable to provide private chartered aeroplanes so the below will have to do:

Ryanair flies direct to Wroclaw from London Stanstead, Bristol, Liverpool, East Midlands, Glasgow and Malaga.
Wizzair flies direct to Wroclaw from London Luton, and Sheffield.
Please check flight times.

Other major airports to consider (however the transfer is longer) are:
Krakow, Poznan and Warsaw (a connecting flight is always possible with LOT airlines)

By Car

If you don't have a car then you could also rent one....

This shows a map of the area.
